Owner Representation

Have a general contractor and want to ensure your project needs are met and that the project comes in on time and under budget. We represent and work directly for the owner by overseeing the construction team, providing budget forecasts, coordinating the design team, procuring products and furnishings, and launching your residential and light commercial project. In this role, we act as the owner and work for their best interests.  


Running behind schedule or going over budget from miscommunications or mistakes can increase a project's cost exponentially. The owner’s representative monitors (not manage) your project.  Our services offer you or your  team process and technical expertise to help you make the thousands of decisions required in a timely manner. We understand what questions to ask, what information needs to be gathered, and how to keep projects on time and on budget. We are your  representative, looking out for your best interests. Possible responsibilities include:

  1. Finding and hiring subcontractors
  2. Scheduling the subs and monitoring their work
  3. Troubleshooting job-site issues with plans, subs, etc.
  4. Reviewing change order requests
  5. Helping with cost estimating
  6. Helping with permitting and inspections
  7. Negotiating material discounts
